Our History
For the 23+ years, we have focused on providing multi-institutional degree exploration support to working adults from numerous major corporations seeking to further their education using their tuition benefits (including banking technology corporations, shipping industry leaders, restaurant chains, airlines, etc.), as well as military and veterans (all 360,000 citizen-soldiers of the National Guard, the USCG & USCG Reserve, and more). We have also assisted veterans from every branch of the military pursuing degrees. The support we provide has been invaluable to so many!
Now, This Support is Free to the USCG Auxiliary:
USCG Auxiliary members come from all walks of life, some working in major corporations or government agencies, others working in small business, some even self-employed. Many have encountered the glass ceiling that can only be overcome by earning a degree. That's what we can help them achieve! We can guide CG Aux members desiring to earn Associate, Bachelor's., Master's and even Ph.D. degrees at a distance from accredited colleges and universities. Family Members Matter, As Well!
The same support that we provide to USCG Auxiliary members can be accessed by their immediate family members at no cost. Some spouses cannot take time away from their families to serve in the Auxiliary, but we welcome the chance to serve them. Of course, those who can serve, we welcome them with open arms. Nearly every USCG Aux Division has couples serving side-by-side in the Auxiliary. (Note: This does not include extended family members, such as cousins, neices or nephews, etc. They can join their local Flotilla to gain this benefit.) This opportunity is for the USCG Aux Community.
How About the Aux University Program:
If you are a USCG Auxiliary member with college-bound children, they have the opportunity to join the USCG Auxiliary University Program. It will certainly give them insight into a career serving in the USCG when they graduate. They can also use their parent's login and password to access SOCRATES, which is an enourmous help at campuses across the nation. If they post the login and password on social media and we observe massive use of it, naturally, access will be terminated, so keep the information close to heart.
